Versatile and enthusiastic music educator and performer.
I’m a passionate, open minded tutor with over 10 years experience in multiple avenues of music and the bass guitar/double bass. My knowledge and approach would suit both more advanced students who wish to develop their playing further and absolute beginners who are eager to find their feet.
Since graduating from the Leeds conservatoire in 2018 I have been working as a professional bassist and composer in multiple genres/roles – I have toured the UK and Europe with multiple acts ranging from Jazz, Funk, Rock, Folk and Improvised to Electronic music, and I frequently record Bass guitar/double bass for many artists across the country.
My lessons are tailored to the individual’s goals; you can come to me with a clear idea of what you want to achieve no matter the difficulty, or we can work together to help you realise your potential and goals.
Whatever you want to achieve from your instrument, wether it be technical proficiency, reading music, learning to improvise, understand theory, looping and effects or even just having fun experimenting, I hope to give you an understanding of your instrument that can make you prepared for anything.
